In 1996 the Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Gliwice took the initiative to prize businesses with the Medal. “The RIPH in Gliwice Medal is a form of honouring the companies, institutions and natural persons distinguished by special achievements in business.” (Art.1 § 1 of the RIPH in Gliwice by-laws on awarding of the Medal).
The Medal is conferred for special achievements in:
- economic development of the region,
- environmental protection,
- implementing of new solutions and technologies.
The motions to confer the Medal are examined by the Chapter chaired by Prof. Stanisław Tkaczyk Ph.D.Eng.
Having thoroughly examined the introduced motions, the Chapter decides in ballot on conferring the medals in accordance with the by-laws.
The Medals are handed in at the annual Gala Meeting of the Chamber, which offers excellent opportunity to promote the distinguished companies, institutions and natural persons, and to learn how they have achieved success.
